Karuna Sharan – 91 kids

This activity is going on for the last 6.5 years and presently we have 91 kids being looked after in leased homes under the care and supervision of 4 dedicated parent couples.

All expenses of the children broadly: Food, shelter, education, medical needs are being met by our trust.

We do get part financing from some individuals and corporates. We have a big deficit each month.

We are looking for additional sponsors for our homes to narrow the monthly deficits.

We are interested in monthly/annual commitments towards the same.

Through sponsoring a child you can ensure the all around growth such as nutritious food, schooling, medicine and clothing of any particular child for that year.

Purpose

1. Transportation of Children from far flung villages around Vasai like Pelhar, Tungareshwarpada, Nalla Sopara, Virar, Papdi.
2. Teachers who teach in our school numbering 35 do not have any comfortable mode of transport to and fro the railway station which is 8 kms away
3. Field trips, sporting events where 20-30 children of our school are participating do not have any transport right now and have to depend on unreliable ST busses or expensive rickshaws where they are scattered in 4-5 rickshaws
4. Procurement of provisions from far off places in huge quantity.

Vocational Training

Future Plans for 200 children from our orphanage.

Goals/Purpose:

The need for students to excel in areas beyond their academics is an area of their lives which has a huge scope for these talented kids to ensure that wherever they go, they will be self sufficient as well as can take care of their own families.

Our goal is to see changed lives, who can avail of a better future for their own families in the years to come, and give them a hope for educational and financial stability in their homes thereby contributing to the community welfare and even impart what they have learnt to others not-so-fortunate.

The need to have a full fledged vocational training centre was felt with our experience in dealing with our 100 orphans, many of whom may not be able to excel in academics, but they have excellent skills with their hands, which we would like for them to enhanced with the end in view that they would have these professional skills and can be translated into careers for them, enabling them to be self-sufficient.
